.SYNOPSIS...Strong high pressure builds S across the area tonight
into Wed, while a stationary front persists S of the waters. The
high shifts E later Wed and Wed night. Low pressure develops
along the stalled front Wed, then remains nearly stationary just
S of the area Wed night through Thu night while broadening and
strengthening. The low drifts N across the area Fri into Sat,
then remains nearly stationary across the waters later Sat
through Sun night while slowly weakening. Mariners should
continue monitoring forecasts for the low pressure, and consider
avoidance plans as needed. This will be a long duration event for
the mid-Atlantic and New England coasts, impactful to the
mariner.
