.SYNOPSIS...A cold front over the S waters will only move
slightly S tonight, remaining off of the SE U.S. coast Thu
through Fri. To the N, low pressure over the N and central waters
will move well out into the N Atlantic tonight through early Thu.
A series of surface troughs then moves SE across the N and
central waters Thu through early Sat. Low pressure should form
off of the SE U.S. coast late Fri, drifting NE Fri night and then
rapidly strengthening and broadening off of the SE U.S. coast Sat
and Sat night. The intense low only gradually moves NE Sat night
into Sun evening, finally approaching Atlantic Canada late Sun
night. Another series of surface troughs will move S across the
waters behind the low Mon and Mon night. Mariners should monitor
the forecasts for Sat and beyond, preparing to execute avoidance
plans.
