New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A strong high pressure area
will build SE across New England and toward the coast today
through Sun night while a series of low pressure centers pass SE
of the area along a strong cold front. The strong high will
remain just inland Mon into Mon night, weaken while drifting SW
inland Tue and Tue night, and then move offshore to the S of the
area Wed and Wed night. Hurricane Teddy is forecast to move to
33.1N 61.6W at 8 AM EDT Mon, to 37.1N 61.2W at 8 PM EDT Mon, to
40.8N 61.8W at 8 AM Tue, then continue N during Tue night into
Wed while becoming a post-tropical cyclone and moving inland over
Nova Scotia and Newfoundland Tue night into Wed. Long period E
and SE swell from Teddy will move into the waters by Sun, and
persist into Wed. For further details on Teddy please see the
latest information from the National Hurricane Center. A low
pressure trough will move over the area Wed night.
