New England continental shelf and slope waters from 60 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure S of the waters
will slowly drift NE today and tonight while strengthening. The
low will stall S of the waters Wed, then slowly drift NW through
Fri night. The low is expected to strengthen with a band of
storm force sustained winds developing Thu, then continuing into
Fri. The low weakens briefly Fri, but then likely strengthens
again later Fri and Fri night. The low then weakens Sat and Sat
night while drifting NE. Mariners should continue monitoring
forecasts for the low pressure, and consider avoidance plans as
needed. This will be a long duration event for the mid-Atlantic
and New England coasts, impactful to the mariner.
