offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure centered near
43N67W will continue moving NE today, while pulling a strong cold
front through the region. Strong NW flow will develop across the
area later today into Mon as the low rapidly intensifies across
the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and Newfoundland. High pressure
builds into the area Mon, then shifts E Mon night. A low pressure
trough will move across the waters later Mon night and Tue.
A cold front will approach the coast later Tue, then slowly move
across the area Tue night through Wed night as the associated
low pressure passes well N of the area into eastern Canada. Low
pressure likely develops offshore S of the area Thu, then lifts
NE toward the waters by Thu night. Mariners should continue
closely monitoring forecasts for this potentially strong
developing low pressure.
