offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Strong high pressure will
build S across the area today, while a stationary front persists
S of the waters. The high will shift E tonight. Low pressure will
develop along the stalled front S of the area today, then remain
nearly stationary just S of the area tonight through Thu while
broadening and strengthening. The low will drift N across the
outer Mid-Atlantic waters Thu night and Fri, then continue moving
N into the area Fri night. The low will stall near Georges Bank
Sat through Sun night while slowly weakening. Mariners should
continue monitoring forecasts for the low pressure, and consider
avoidance plans as needed. This will be a long duration event,
impactful to the mariner.
