offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.
Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.
Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A low pressure trough
extending NW from low pressure SE of the area will move very
slowly W through the waters tonight. The trough will move back NE
across the waters Thu, then shift E of the area Thu night ahead
of an area of low pressure and associated cold front. The low and
cold front will move E across the area Thu and Thu night. The
front will clear E of the waters by early Fri, with a secondary
cold front crossing the waters into later Fri. A high pressure
ridge will pass across the waters Fri night and Sat. A
strengthening area of low pressure will approach the waters from
the S late Sat, then pass over or just S of the southern waters
Sun. The low will continue to deepen E and NE of the waters
later Sun through Mon night. High pressure will move into the
region from the W Sun night and persist through Mon night.
