offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Following an initial cold
front that will develop and move through the area, a strong cold
front gradually moves E across the waters tonight and Thu. A
series of surface troughs will then move through the area Thu
night and Fri. High pressure builds in late Fri and Fri night. As
high pressure moves E Fri night, a warm front approaches from
the S, moving into the S waters Sat. The front will remain nearly
stationary over or near the waters Sat night and Sun, then low
pressure will move NE along the front, and move over or near the
E waters Sun night. Surface troughiness will be in place behind
the low Mon, high pressure builds in briefly early Mon night,
then another cold front moves into the waters late Mon night.
