from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure located about 100 nm
E and SE of Cape Hatteras early tonight will track NE over
eastern portions of the central and northern waters tonight. The
low will move NE away from the area Sun and Sun night. A cold
front moving E across the northern and western parts of the waters
early tonight will merge with a front trailing S from the low
pressure area early Sun. This combined front will then move S
over the southern waters during Sun, then become stationary
across the far southern waters Sun night through Wed before
moving farther S away from the waters Wed night. High pressure
will gradually build E across the central waters Sun night into
Tue, weaken Tue night as a weakening cold front moves quickly E
across the northern waters, then rebuild over the central and
northern waters Wed through Thu night.
