.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A trough will persist near the
California coast through Mon night, while high pressure centered
to the W and NW of the waters extends a ridge across most of the
area. A cold front across the northern waters will weaken and
dissipate tonight. Low pressure will approach the northern
portions tonight, then move NE across the N waters and inland N
of the area early Fri. A cold front associated with the low will
move SE across the northern portions Thu, the central waters Thu
night and Fri, then finally into the southern waters Fri night
while dissipating. Another cold front will approach the area from
the NW Sat, weaken Sat night near the outer waters, then
dissipate Sun.
