SOUTHEAST U.S. WATERS
SYNOPSIS...Low pressure off the SE U.S. coast will deepen and
expand as it moves N tonight into Sun, with a secondary low
forming and eventually being centered offshore of the Virginia
Capes Sun night. This broad, complex low will move very slowly E
from the Virginia Capes to the outer Mid-Atlantic waters Sun
night through Tue night, before clearing well E into the Atlantic
Wed and Wed night. Mariners should monitor later forecasts on the
coastal system, and consider avoidance plans as needed. This will
be a long duration event for the east coast, and impactful to the
mariner. A weak low pressure trough or cold front will pass SE
across the area Tue and Tue night. Another cold front will
approach from the NW late Tue into Tue night, and move SE across
the waters Wed and Wed night. High pressure will build in across
the region Thu and Thu night.
