SOUTHEAST U.S. WATERS

SYNOPSIS...Low pressure off the New Jersey coast will move slowly SE and S across the Mid-Atlantic offshore waters tonight through Wed night while pulling a cold front S over the area. The weakening low will become nearly stationary across the outer waters SE of Cape Hatteras Thu through Fri night. Strong high pressure will build S across the northern portions tonight through Fri night. A low pressure trough will develop near the SE U.S. coast Thu, persist through Fri, and then dissipate Fri night. Another low pressure area may develop across or just E of the northern outer waters Fri night, and remain in the region through Sat night.
