SOUTHEAST U.S. WATERS
SYNOPSIS...A cold front will move E and SE over the waters N of
the area today, before stalling near Cape Fear tonight. The
stalled front will lift N as a warm front Mon as low pressure
develops and strengthens just E and NE of the Virginia Capes
later Mon. The low will continue to strengthen while tracking E
over the waters N of the area Mon night, with a trailing cold
front moving SE into the area. The front will stall over the
waters Tue into Tue night as weak high pressure builds to the N
of the front. Weak low pressure will form along the front Tue
night, with the low passing E of the region during Wed. High
pressure will briefly build E and SE over the waters Wed into
Wed night as another cold front approaches from the NW. The
weakening cold front will move SE across the waters Thu followed
by strong high pressure building E and SE over the region Thu
night.
