SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS
SYNOPSIS...A stationary front draped across the northern half of
the waters will begin lifting N as a warm front today as low
pressure develops just W of the northern waters. As that low
moves quickly NE and then N away from the area, a cold front
extending S from the low will move SE across the northern and
central waters tonight and Fri, reaching the southern waters Fri
night. On Sat, a new weaker area of low pressure will develop W
of the waters. It will move E into the northern waters Sat night
into Sun before weakening into a trough Sun night. The low will
drag a cold front across the central and southern waters Sun
night through Mon night. An additional weak and broad area of
troughing will extend S from broad low pressure N of the area and
will move E across the northern waters Mon and Mon night.
