SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WATERS

SYNOPSIS...High pressure will persist W of the waters today through Fri, then gradually shift E towards the area Fri night and Sat while weakening into an open ridge. The ridge axis will then remain in place W of the waters through Sun, then drift back W away from the area Sun night through Mon night. A trough will remain in place along the N and Central California coast through today before dissipating tonight. Another weak trough will form along the entire California coast Sat through Mon night, strengthening somewhat late Mon night.
