front approaches the area from the S and SW Fri night. The warm
front moves NE across the waters Sat, with a cold front
approaching from the NW Sat night.

farther E into the N Atlantic today, a secondary cold front or
surface trough moves through the N and central waters during the
day and into tonight. High pressure then gradually builds E
tonight and Wed, continuing through Thu. While high pressure
lingers over the central and S waters, a front moves through the
N waters Thu night and Fri. A warm front then develops offshore
of the mid-Atlantic Fri night, moving N into the N waters Sat,
and moving N of the area by Sat night. By Sat night, high
pressure will be S and E of the area, with a surface trough
located along or near the coast.
