.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Strong high pressure centered 
N of the area will drift N into the weekend. Broad low pressure 
organizing along a stalled front S of the area early this morning
will move slowly N and NE and strengthen today into tonight. The
broad, strengthening low will drift N across the Mid-Atlantic 
waters later tonight into Fri night, then continue moving N into 
the area later Fri night or early Sat. The low will then stall, 
or briefly move W, just to the SE and S of Long Island late Sat 
into Sun night while slowly weakening. The low will finally 
move E and NE late Sun night into Mon night. Mariners should 
continue monitoring forecasts, and consider avoidance plans as 
needed. This will be a long duration event, and highly impactful 
to the mariner into the upcoming weekend.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A weakening stationary front 
remains in place oriented SW to NE across the waters tonight. Low
pressure just E of the outer central waters will drift very 
slowly N tonight through Fri night while strengthening, reaching 
Georges Bank late Fri night. The low will pull a cold front 
through the outer southern waters tonight and early Thu. Strong 
counterflow to the Gulf Stream will create large, very steep, and
possibly breaking waves resulting in a particularly hazardous 
sea state. The low will move just N of the area early Sat, remain
nearly stationary through Sun night, and then finally begin to 
move E Mon and Mon night while high pressure builds SE across the
S waters. Mariners should continue monitoring forecasts as the 
strengthening low pressure system slowly crosses the region, and
consider avoidance plans as needed. This will be a long duration
event, and highly impactful to the mariner.
