.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure will be over the
waters today, and move E and SE of the area tonight. A warm
front will lift N through the waters by early tonight and followed
by a cold front late tonight into early Sat. The cold front will
stall S of the area during Sat, then lift back N through the
waters as a warm front Sat night. A stronger cold front will move
offshore Sun while a strengthening low develops near the coast
and moves into the Gulf of Maine early Sun. The cold front will
move E of the area Sun night into Mon while the rapidly
developing low moves off to the NE of the area. High pressure
will build to the SW and S of the waters Mon night, and pass to
the SE of the area Tue and Tue night as a low pressure trough
crosses the region. A warm front will develop and lift N into the
area Tue night as another strong low pressure system moves E and
NE from the Great Lakes and N of Maine.
