.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure persists across
the waters this morning, while a stationary front lingers to the
S of the area. The high moves E early today, allowing the front
to slowly lift N as a warm front. The warm front moves into the
waters later today, then low pressure and a cold front move into
the area off the New England coast tonight. The low and front
move E of the area Fri and Fri night, with the low then
intensifying and broadening along and just E Nova Scotia Sat
through Sun night. A series of low pressure troughs associated
with the low will move through the waters Sat through Sun night.
The low begins to slowly weaken and move E away from the area Mon
and Mon night allowing high pressure to gradually build into the
area.

southern portions today into Fri night, then weakens and shifts
SE of the area Sat and Sat night. A stationary front extends E
from off the Virginia coast near Cape Charles Light this morning,
then drifts N as a warm front today. The warm front clears N and
NE of the area later today and tonight, followed by a cold front
moving into the N portions Fri. The cold front moves slowly S
across the N and central portions Fri night through Sat night,
then across the S portions Sun and Sun night. Behind the cold
front, high pressure builds SE toward the N and central portions
late Sun through Mon night.
