offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

ANZ898-172000-
422 AM EDT Sun May 17 2026

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A high pressure ridge will
persist S and SE of the waters today. A cold front will reach
the northern Gulf of Maine later today, then push S across the
area tonight while weakening. The front will stall near or just
S of the southern waters Mon as another high slides SE over the
waters. The front will lift N and NE as a weak warm front Mon
night, and pass N of the waters by Tue. A strong high will
settle SE and S of the area Mon night into Wed. The high will
weaken and shift off to the E Wed night as the next cold front
moves SE over the waters. The front will clear S of the area Thu
before stalling S of the waters Thu night as high pressure
builds SE into the region.
