.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure centered about 30 nm E of Nags Head will
rapidly intensify while tracking NE across the waters today,
pulling a strong cold front across the area, then clearing well
NE of the area later tonight. A weak high pressure ridge will
briefly build in over the waters Mon, followed by another cold
front moving rapidly through the waters Mon night into early Tue.
High pressure will gradually build E toward the coast Tue, build
off the coast Tue night, move across the waters Wed, and then
pass E of the area by Wed night. Yet another cold front will
approach from the NW Wed night, then move across the waters Thu
into Thu night. The NAVTEX transmitter in Charleston is not
operational at this time. Technicians are aware, and parts have
been ordered.
