.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will shift E of the region today and
tonight. A front will move across the northern waters tonight
then move S across the central waters Thu before stalling Thu
night. The front will lift N as a warm front later Thu night into
Fri night. Low pressure will form along the front and move E
across the northern waters Fri into Sat while pushing a cold
front across the region. The cold front will stall across the
southern waters Sat, then lift N as a warm front Sat night.
Meanwhile, high pressure will build across the N and central
waters Sat night behind the cold front. Low pressure associated
with the warm front will move offshore the SE coast Sun, then
quickly move N and NE through Sun night while pushing a cold
front across the waters. Mariners should consider avoidance plans
and monitor the latest forecasts. The NAVTEX at Chesapeake is
reported to be inoperative. Technicians are aware. We apologize
for the inconvenience.
