.SYNOPSIS...Strong NW winds will continue across the north
portions into this afternoon as low pressure rapidly intensifies
across the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and Newfoundland. Otherwise,
high pressure will move offshore today into Tue, then shift E Tue
night. A cold front will develop offshore early Wed, then slowly
move E across the waters Wed and Wed night. Another stronger cold
front will approach the coast Wed night, then push offshore Thu
and Thu night. Low pressure likely develops along this front Wed
night, then moves offshore and intensifies off the Mid- Atlantic
coast and across the waters Thu and Thu night, before clearing
well NE of the area Fri. Mariners should continue closely
monitoring forecasts for this potentially strong developing low
pressure. High pressure will build E across the waters later Fri
and Fri night.
