To the N, a series of surface troughs moves SE across the N and central waters through early Sat, with high pressure briefly building in Sat. Low pressure should form off of the SE U.S. coast along the front late Fri, drifting NE Fri night and then rapidly strengthening and broadening off of the SE U.S. coast Sat and Sat night. The intense low only gradually moves NE Sat night through Sun, being centered S of Nova Scotia late Sun night and approaching Newfoundland Mon. Another series of surface troughs will move S across the waters behind the low Mon and Mon night, continuing over the N waters through Tue night. High pressure gradually builds E over the far S waters Tue and Tue night.
