.SYNOPSIS...With high pressure building E over the S waters, a
series of surface troughs will move over the N waters tonight,
with weak high pressure building E there Tue. A front develops
off of the mid-Atlantic coast Tue night and low pressure develops
along it late Tue night and Wed. As high pressure builds E over
the N waters, a cold front associated with the low moves slowly S
over the S waters through Thu with another low developing along
the front off of the SE U.S. coast. The low moves well off into
the north Atlantic by Fri. Weak high pressure will be over the
entire area late Fri, then a strong cold front approaches from
the NW Fri night. The front moves into the waters by Sat as low
pressure develops along the front off of the mid-Atlantic coast
Fri night, broadening and intensifying well offshore Sat and Sat
night. Mariners should monitor later forecasts especially for
next weekend.
