.SYNOPSIS...A weakening stationary front remains draped across
the central waters from the Virginia Capes eastward, with a low
pressure trough extending S over the outer portion of the S
waters early today. The front likely dissipates by later today as
the trough drifts W toward the SE coast. A cold front approaches
from the N today, then stalls across the far N waters tonight
into Wed night as weak lows develop and track E along the
boundary. The stationary front lifts back to the N as a warm
front Thu, with an associated low pressure area moving offshore
New England later Thu and Thu night. The low continues E while
passing just S and SE of Nova Scotia Fri and Fri night. This low
pulls a cold front across the N portions late Thu and Thu night,
and across the central portions Fri and Fri night. Otherwise,
high pressure builds across the S portions by tonight, persists
through Thu night, and then starts to shift more E and SE Fri and
Fri night.
