.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will shift E of the southern waters
tonight. A cold front will move S across the northern waters
tonight and Thu, then stall across the central waters late Thu
and Thu night. The front will lift back N as a warm front Fri as
low pressure develops along the front near the Virginia Capes.
The low will track E across the northern waters Fri night. Its
associated cold front will move S across the waters Fri night and
Sat before stalling across the southern waters Sat night.
Meanwhile, high pressure will build across the N and central
waters Sat into Sat night. Low pressure will develop along the
stalled front across the southern waters Sat night, then lift NE
across the waters Sun through Mon night while rapidly
intensifying. Mariners should consider avoidance plans and
monitor the latest forecasts for this system. The NAVTEX at
Chesapeake is reported to be inoperative. Technicians are aware.
