.SYNOPSIS...A complex area of strengthening low pressures across
the outer mid-Atlantic waters pushes off to the E tonight,
pulling trailing cold fronts E of the area. Another cold front
moves into the far N portions late tonight, stalls SE off Long
Island Tue, then returns N as a warm front Tue night. High
pressure builds across the area late Tue night and Wed, shifts to
the S portions Wed night through Thu night, then moves E and
dissipates Fri. Another cold front moves across the N portions
Wed night and Thu, briefly stalls off the Outer Banks Thu night,
then lifts back to the N as a warm front early Fri. A strong cold
front nears the coast later Fri, pushing E across the western
Atlantic Fri night and Sat. High pressure builds E across the
waters behind this cold front later Sat and Sat night. Mariners
should monitor forecasts throughout the week, with the potential
for widespread hazardous conditions possible late Fri into the
weekend, in particular across the N and central areas.
