offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure centered near
Newfoundland Island will continue moving off to the NE tonight. A
series of low pressure troughs or secondary cold fronts will move
SE across the waters tonight into Sun. Strong high pressure will
build SE to the coast late Sun and Sun night, will settle
offshore Mon, and then will shift NE of the area Mon night into
Tue. Developing low pressure will approach the New England coast
Tue, then move slowly E across the waters Tue night into Wed
night. The low will slow and strengthen to the E and SE of the
waters Wed night and Thu before tracking S and SE away from the
area Thu night.
