height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...Strong low pressure
will approach the area from the SW tonight and then move across
the N portion Fri, as an associated cold front moves across the
waters. A high pressure ridge will then move quickly E across the
area Fri night. Another strong cold front will approach the
waters from the W Sat, then cross the area Sat night into Sun. A
weak high pressure ridge will move along the Washington and
Oregon coasts Sun night, ahead of another cold front that will
move across the waters Mon and Mon night. Yet another cold front
will move through the waters Tue and Tue night.
