height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A high pressure ridge over the
central waters will move SE tonight while weakening. A cold front
will move into the N waters tonight, then move across the N and
central waters Fri. The front will move into the S waters Fri
night while dissipating. Another strong cold front will approach
the waters Sat and Sat night, then move into the area Sun and Sun
night. The front will then dissipate across the S waters Mon. Yet
another cold front will approach the N portion Mon, become
stationary Mon night, then move N Tue and Tue night as a warm
front. High pressure will build across the central waters Mon 
night through Tue night.
