West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 60 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Intensifying low pressure will
move NE while passing near or just E of the waters today, and
continue strengthening while moving off to the NE of the area
tonight. A cold front will move offshore by this afternoon, then
slowly pass E of the area later today, tonight into early Fri as
weak low pressure crosses the waters near or just N of the area.
High pressure will build E over the S and central waters by late
Fri, and expand over all of the waters Fri night into Sat. The
high will begin to shift E of the N portion Sat night into Sun as
another cold front approaches from the NW. The cold front will
reach the far N waters Sun night, then stall and weaken over the
far N waters Mon into Mon night. A high pressure ridge will
persist over the S and central waters Sat night through Mon
night.
