...Please refer to Coastal Waters Forecasts (CWF) available
through NOAA Weather Radio and other means for detailed coastal
waters forecasts...
.SYNOPSIS...Strong low pressure NE of the waters will slowly move
NE while passing S and then E of Nova Scotia today into Wed. A
high pressure ridge across the southern waters will gradually
weaken today through Tue, and then will shift E of the area Tue
night. A cold front will form over the N waters today, and move S
to the central waters tonight before stalling over the area Tue.
The front will begin to lift N as a warm front Tue night while
weak high pressure builds E over the waters. The warm front will
continue moving N across the waters Wed and Wed night while
another cold front approaches the coast and moves offshore Wed
night. The cold front will clear E of the area Thu and Thu night
as low pressure passes NW and N of the waters. A series of
secondary cold fronts or low pressure troughs will move E and SE
over the region Fri and Fri night as the low drifts N and NE near
New England.
