...Please refer to Coastal Waters Forecasts (CWF) available
through NOAA Weather Radio and other means for detailed coastal
waters forecasts...

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front will persist from the South
Carolina coast eastward tonight, and then drift N Sun into Sun
night. Low pressure located along the front over the outer waters
will weaken later tonight, then move N and NE Sun into Sun night.
A cold front will reach the far northern waters late Sun night,
and then slowly move S Mon. The front will likely stall from near
the Virginia Capes eastward Mon night through Tue night as low
pressure develops S of the frontal boundary. Low pressure or a
wave of low pressures will move very slowly N along or S of the
front Wed through Thu night. Strong high pressure will build N of
the region while interacting with the frontal boundary and low
pressure over the area to generate NE to E gales, and potentially
storm force winds and building seas late Tue through Thu night
mainly over the central and northern waters. Mariners are urged
to closely monitor the latest OPC and coastal National Weather
Service forecasts over the coming days, and begin to develop
avoidance plans for this potentially significant event.
