Conditions given represent the highest within that period.
Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.
.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure will build E
across the N and central waters tonight, then weaken later Fri
and Fri night. By Sat night another area of high pressure will
build in across the N and central waters, then shift farther S
over the central and S waters Sun through Mon night. A cold front
will move E into the northern waters Sat, then dissipate across
the central waters later Sat or Sat night. A coastal trough will
develop over central and S California Sun through early Mon, then
weaken into Mon night. A cold front will approach the area Sun,
move across the N an central waters Sun night and Mon, then
through the southern waters later Mon and Mon night. A trough
will develop along the entire coast Tue and Tue night as high
pressure builds in from the N and NW of the region.
