New England continental shelf and slope waters from 60 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Subtropical Storm Josephine, 
located near 38.7N 68.3W early this morning, will transition to 
a hurricane-force extratropical cyclone today into tonight as it
moves NE. The system will move well out into the N Atlantic 
tonight. Mariners must execute avoidance from this system while 
monitoring the latest forecasts. High pressure then builds S over
the area Fri, continuing through Sun night except for occasional
surface troughiness along the coast. A cold front approaches the
area from the NW Mon and moves S into the waters Mon night.
