New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.
Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.
Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Weak low pressure and its
associated cold front moves into the waters tonight, passing E of
the area late Wed and Wed night. A series of surface troughs
will move SE across the waters Wed night into Thu, with high
pressure building E Thu and continuing through Fri. A strong cold
front approaches from the W Fri night and then moves into the
waters by Sat as low pressure rapidly intensifies along the
front just S of the waters. The low broadens and strengthens SE
of the area Sat night. A secondary cold front will SE across the
waters into Sun night. Mariners should monitor later forecasts
especially for next weekend.
