New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A series of surface troughs
will move SE across the area today through early Sat. High 
pressure will build in briefly Sat, then low pressure should 
rapidly strengthen and broaden off of the SE U.S. coast Sat and 
Sat night. The intense low will gradually move NE Sat night 
through Sun, being centered S of Nova Scotia late Sun night and 
approaching Newfoundland Mon. Another series of surface troughs 
will move S across the waters behind the low Mon through Tue, 
with a cold front approaching the waters from the N Tue night. 
Mariners should monitor the forecasts for Sat and beyond, 
preparing to execute avoidance plans from the powerful low 
pressure system.
