New England continental shelf and slope waters from 60 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.
Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.
Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weak high pressure ridge
over the region will gradually shift E of the area tonight. A
cold front will approach the waters from the W Tue, then stall
just W of the area Tue night into Wed night as low pressure
tracks NE along the boundary. The cold front will move into the
waters Thu and Thu night as yet another low tracks NE along the
boundary. The front will push E of the waters Fri followed by a
secondary cold front or low pressure trough later Fri. High
pressure will build across the area Fri night behind the
secondary front or trough, and persist in the region into Sat
night.
