Offshore Waters Forecast

New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A warm front will lift N
across the waters tonight. A cold front will approach the coast 
early Thu, then move across the area through Thu night. High 
pressure will briefly build into the area behind the front Thu 
night and Fri. Another warm front will lift N into the waters 
Fri night before another cold front moves offshore later Fri 
night. The cold front will sweep E across the waters Sat while 
the parent low pressure center moves through the Gulf of Maine. A
series of low pressure troughs or secondary cold fronts will 
move across the waters behind the front Sat night. Meanwhile, 
high pressure will build across the area later Sat night through 
Sun, then exit E of the area Sun night. Another warm front will 
approach from the S late Sun night, then move N across the area 
Mon. A cold front will approach the coast later Mon, then move 
across the waters Mon night.
