.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A high pressure ridge persists
over the area today, then shifts N by tonight, while a rapidly
intensifying low pressure passes to the S and then SE of the
waters. A strong cold front moves to the coast tonight, then
pushes E across the area Sat and Sat night as another rapidly
intensifying low pressure passes just S and then SE of the area.
The low broadens and strengthens through Sun as it continues well
E and NE of the area into the N Atlantic. A series of low
pressure troughs move S and SE across the waters Sun into Tue. A
high pressure ridge builds to the coast Tue, then moves offshore
Tue night. Mariners should continue monitoring the most up to
date forecasts, considering avoidance plans as needed.
