.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weak warm front will lift N
across the area today. A cold front will approach the coast from
the W late today and tonight, and move slowly E over the area
late Thu through Fri. High pressure will build slowly E into the
region Fri night through Sat, and then will shift SE of the area
Sat night. The associated high pressure ridge will persist across
the Mid- Atlantic waters through Sun night. Another cold front
will approach the coast Sun, then move into the waters Sun night.
Long period swell from Hurricane Larry, currently centered
across the central Atlantic about 540 nm SE of Bermuda, will
spread across the waters today and persist into the weekend.
Mariners should closely monitor the latest information from the
National Hurricane Center regarding Hurricane Larry over the next
few days as the system tracks NW, then N, and finally NE over
areas to the SE, E and then NE of the offshore waters.
