.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A cold front moving S over the
waters will pass just S of the area by later today, and then
stall just S of the area tonight into Wed while a series of weak
lows move E along the boundary. Weak high pressure will form over
the Gulf of Maine and Georges Bank to the N of the front by
tonight, with the high passing E and NE of the waters Tue into
Wed. The front then lifts back N into the area as a warm front
Wed night into Thu, with an associated low pressure moving to the
New England coast. The low moves offshore later Thu and Thu
night, pulling a cold front E across the area. The low continues
moving E Fri and Fri night and passes just S and SE of Nova
Scotia, while a low pressure trough or secondary cold front moves
SE over the region.
