New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Powerful post-tropical 
cyclone Fiona was centered over the Gulf of Saint Lawrence near 
48.4N 60.5W at 5 PM EDT with maximum sustained winds to 60 kt 
and was moving northeast at 7 kt. Fiona will continue tracking N 
and NE away from the area tonight into Sun while gradually 
weakening. Long period S to SE swell associated with Fiona will 
persist across the area tonight into early Sun. See the latest 
advisory issued by the National Hurricane Center for more 
information, and also the latest high seas forecast issued by 
the Ocean Prediction Center. Otherwise, high pressure will pass 
S of the region tonight into Sun. A cold front will approach the 
coast late Sun into Sun night, then move E across the area later 
Sun night into Mon. Another cold front will move over the waters 
later Mon night into Tue night. A low pressure trough will move 
off the Maine coast Wed and Wed night. Strong high pressure will 
slowly build E across the waters Wed night through Thu night.
