New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Weak low pressure and its
associated cold front moves into the waters early today, passing
E of the area late today and tonight. A series of surface troughs
will move SE across the waters tonight into Thu, with high
pressure building E Thu and continuing through Fri. A strong cold
front approaches from the W Fri night and then moves into the
waters by Sat as low pressure rapidly intensifies along the front
just S of the waters. The low broadens and strengthens SE of the
area Sat night. A secondary cold front will pass SE across the
waters Sun into Sun night. Mariners should monitor later
forecasts especially for next weekend.
