.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A high pressure ridge just N
of the region will shift N tonight as an intensifying low
pressure area passes to the S and SE of the waters. A strong cold
front will move E across the region Sat and Sat night as a
rapidly intensifying low passes S and SE of the area. The low
will strengthen through Sun as it continues moving well E and NE
of the region. A series of low pressure troughs will move S and
SE across the waters Sun into Tue. Another ridge will build
offshore Tue and Tue night, then shift E of the area Wed and Wed
night as low pressure tracks E to the S and SE of the region.
Mariners should monitor the latest forecasts while considering
avoidance plans.
