West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Arctic high pressure will move E
away from the waters today. A stationary front developing near
the coast from Cape Lookout southward will persist today, and
then weaken and dissipate tonight. A cold front will approach
from the NW later today into tonight as developing and rapidly
intensifying low pressure passes just SE and then E of the
southern waters. The cold front will move SE over the area Mon
and Mon night as the rapidly intensifying low passes E of the
waters. All mariners transiting waters especially E of the waters
tonight into Mon night should closely monitor the latest
forecasts, including the North Atlantic high seas forecast, and
plan to execute avoidance routing over those areas mainly E of
the offshore waters. Otherwise, high pressure will build E and SE
over the waters Mon night and Tue. A high pressure ridge will
persist over the central and southern waters Tue night into Wed
night. A weakening cold front will move SE into the northern
waters Wed into Wed night, stall across the northern waters later
Wed night, and then return N as a warm front Thu. A cold front
will move offshore Thu night as the warm front lifts N and NE of
the waters.
