.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Weak high pressure will dominate
most of the S waters tonight as a weak cold front crosses the
outer waters early tonight. Another cold front will approach from
the NW Fri, move SE over the N and central waters Fri night into
Sat, and reach the S waters Sat night. The front will then likely
stall and extend E from near Cape Lookout early Sun, slowly lift
N over the central waters as a warm front Sun into Mon, and then
stall across the central waters later Mon into Tue night as high
pressure builds S over the N and central waters. Tropical Storm
Gabrielle will likely pass well E of the waters as a hurricane
Mon and Mon night. For more information on Gabrielle please see
the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center. Long
period easterly swells generated by Gabrielle could begin to
impact portions of the waters by Mon or Mon night.
